Remembering Kim Porter
Model and actress Kim Porter tragically passed away Thursday, November 15th. According to CNN, the well-loved actress was found dead by emergency responders in her house at Toluca Lake, California. The call was for a cardiac arrest, but medical investigators have yet to conclude the cause of death. However, sources close to Porter claim that she had been suffering from a serious case of pneumonia in the weeks leading up to her sudden demise.
Porter, who starred in “The Brothers”, “Wicked Wicked Games” and VH1’s “Single Ladies”, was well known for her high profile relationships with Al B. Sure!, member of R&B group Jodeci, and rapper P. Diddy. She leaves behind four children; Quincy, Christian and her twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila. Despite being on and off with P. Diddy for nearly 13 years, Porter and Diddy had a very close relationship, often referred to as the face of a blended family, as she co-parented with Misa-Hylton Brim and Sarah Chapman.

Diddy broke his silence Sunday afternoon, posting a final tribute on Instagram. The post featured footage of Diddy and Porter during a photoshoot while she was pregnant, captioned as:
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love 🖤”
