On January 28, 1985 a GOAT was born. As we celebrate this day, it’s only right to discuss the impact J. Cole has on the music industry. 

Influenced by artist like Jay-Z, Tupac, Eminem and Andre 3000, Cole has made a significant impact in the music industry. The North Carolina Native created Dreamville Records with distribution by Interscope Records, it is a label consisting of artists “cut from the same cloth”. Dreamville Records is home to some well renowned artists including: Bas, J.I.D, Ari Lennox, EarthGang, Omen, and many more. This record label was created in 2007 following J. Cole debut mixtape ‘The Come Up’ which launched J. Coles Music Career.

Fast Forward over a decade later, J. Cole has produced five albums that went platinum. Including, Solo Album “2014 Forest Hills Drive” which went double platinum. ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ also went platinum, where J. Cole was handling most of the production of the project. It is safe to say the journey of J. Cole was nothing short of revolutionary. Seen as an impactful artist in Music, J. Cole’s artistry moves and inspires.

It has also been rumored that the Dreamville rapper continues to tease new music on his Instagram and is set to release a well awaited album “The Off Season”.
