Lyricists Chris Patrick kicks the year off with newly released track “Up Now”
Tri- state area’s very own Chris Patrick has quickly made a buzz as one of underground’s most memorable lyricists. The New Jersey artist went from “The R Factor” talent show winner that got him a spot to open for Travis Scott during the Birds in The Trap Sing McKnight tour, to releasing his first album “From the Heart, Vol 2.” In early 2020. This year he is back with a new highly anticipated single “Up Now.”

The single is inspired by humble upbringings and being able to overcome adversities. In a recent interview, Patrick expresses the meaning behind his new track.
“Having come from a space where dreams usually get killed, the feeling of being Up is satisfying but fleeting. As temporary as the feeling is, it’s important to make the most of it while you’re there."
Admired for his wordplay and punchy delivery, Patrick truly displays his raw talent with this new single. The track emphasizes the “Celebration of big wins in life” as he journeys his way to the top. His ability to story tell gives his listeners a great depiction of the trails and tribulations Patrick went through to get where he is now.
