Ayotemi Releases New Project 'INDIGONESIA'

Coming from the DMV is the warm and soulful artist, Ayotemi, who has a one-of-a-kind blissful voice. He just released a 4-track EP, ‘INDIGONESIA’, that’s inspired from his pilgrimage to Bali, Indonesia. The EP takes you on a spiritual journey that he also went on. Ayotemi says that he “wanted to take the listeners to a place of pure abundance, radiant, joyful, and triumphant energy” to help heal listeners trauma and leave them experiencing joy. The use of his own genre, “Indigo Rap”, brings a warm, giddy, and floating feeling that allows you to tap into your inner child. The project shows Ayotemi’s mission to spread positivity and wisdom through the strong lyricism.

The most recent projects coming from Ayotemi have a higher purpose and are themed after the “Indigo Children”. The Indigo Children are a a group of youth who use their special talents and spiritual abilities to aid people in their trauma, provide inspiration, and spark creativity. Ayotemi is one of those Indigo Children. This motivated him to coin his own genre, “Indigo Rap”, which is a blend of modern hip hop sounds, tribal rap cadences, and harmonic soundscapes to create music that is healing. These sounds can all be heard in ‘INDIGONESIA’.
